We currently have 2 of 4 live in spots available. Are you a college student or a certified firefighter or EMT that has a job and wants to experience life in the firehouse? Our program started 16 years ago and has had many live ins come through the doors that have provided a quality service to our citizens and gained a decent amount of experience. We offer private bedrooms & free internet, training paid 100% including the paramedic program through Garrett College. Contact us to find out more information.

*College students - no training required but must successfully pass fire 1 or EMT within first MFRI semester of acceptance.

*Work program - to be eligible for the work program portion you must already have Fire 1 or EMT.
