On Monday January 23, 2023 @ approx 0341 hours, Engine Company 3 and surrounding companies were alerted for a working house fire on Wood Rose Ave on box 11-1 in Bowman’s Addition. Engine 112 (Bowman’s Addition) arrived on scene at the same time as Battalion Chief 1 (Cumberland). BC1 assumed command and reported a 1 Story SFD with with fire showing on side “D” and from the roof. Engine 32 responded with 5 personnel, arriving behind Cumberland Engine 2. Crews from E2 & E32 stretched attack lines and extinguished the outside-in fire, the crews advanced the lines into D1 to extinguish the fire in the attic and start overhaul. Searches proved negative. Crew operated from over 2 hours before returning to service.
