On Friday, December 23rd, BRFD was alerted to W. Cumberland St in Wiley Ford, WV for a reported house fire. E32 responded with a crew of 4. While enroute, E27-11 arrived on scene and reported a single wide house trailer on a basement with fire showing, possible entrapment. E32 arrived on scene and assisted Company 27 (Wiley Ford) & Company 25 (Ridgeley) with an interior attack to complete a primary search. Subzero temps hampered crews' ability to operate for extended times. Primary search was negative and later found that the residence was not occupied at the time of the fire. E32 crew operated on & off for 3 hours prior to being released. The standby crew that remained in station handled 2 additional calls.
