At 10:54 hours on Friday January 13th, Allegany ECC dispatched rescue local 4705, McMullen Hwy (US 220 South) @ Dales Pit Stop for a tractor trailer accident with entrapment. Shortly after the initial dispatch Allegany ECC upgraded the assignment to a tractor trailer accident with entrapment and building collapse bringing the rescue squad and company collapse technicians to the scene.

RE471 arrived on scene confirming 1 tractor trailer into an old fuel station with an awning collapse on the tractor. Command reported the driver out of the vehicle on arrival, and an active fuel leak from the saddle tanks and requested hazmat and collapse resources to continue in for further evaluation.

The Special Operations Duty officer, Chief 48 (Crippen) responded from the scene of an overturned propane truck in Wiley Ford, WV arrived with Fuel 48, & evaluated the awning's structural integrity & the fuel leak. Further investigation revealed no need for shoring or collapse resources. Command returned the collapse team except for Rescue Squad 3 who was already on scene to assist with the hazmat at the request of Chief 48. The crew operated for 45 minutes before returning to service.

Deputy Chief 47 (Foor) held the McMulllen Hwy command.
