Once again on Tuesday Dec 20th, Bedford Road FD was alerted for a working fire. This time with the ladder company to Cumberland City. Allegany ECC dispatched City Box F0103 for the house on fire on Columbia Ave in the Citys north end. Shortly after dispatch the assignment was upgraded to a Working alarm, with confirmed entrapment. Ladder 3 with a crew of 5, responded on the alarm. Once on scene the crew was assigned primary search duties. With the building being a duplex, the crew split 2 & 2. While completing the primary search, Cumberland Fire discovered 1 victim in the main fire room. All other searches proved negative. Ladder driver doubled as the OVM, laddering the building, setting scene lighting and PPV. Ladder remained on scene for 2 hours prior to being released.
